Choose your preferred doctor on the Doctors page and click Book Now. Select a convenient day and one or more available time slots, add your details, upload any relevant medical reports and submit your appointment request. We will email your appointment confirmation with payment instructions, and once your payment is completed you will receive a link to join your online consultation. If you cannot find a suitable time, please contact us and we will do our best to find an appointment for you.

No — you can request an appointment as a guest and manage it using the link in your emails. Registering lets you upload reports securely, re-use your details and see all your consultations in one place.

You can book from any country. All prices are listed in LKR, and you can pay securely by credit or debit card. There are no hidden charges from MediGo Lanka. However, your card issuer may charge a foreign transaction fee, depending on the terms and conditions of your card.

All appointment times are Sri Lanka time (GMT+5:30). When you choose time slots, the booking page also shows the equivalent time where you are.

Every clinician on MediGo Lanka is verified against the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) register before they go live. We also check qualifications and hospital affiliation.

All listed doctors speak English. Sinhala and Tamil-speaking doctors are filterable on the Doctors page.

Consultations take place on Google Meet and usually last 15 to 20 minutes. Your Meet link is emailed to you as soon as your payment is received, and we send reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment.

Doctors can issue a Sri Lankan prescription that can be filled at any SL pharmacy. Cross-border prescriptions are not currently supported.

Missed appointments are non-refundable. If you cannot make it, reschedule free of charge at least 24 hours in advance using the link in your appointment emails or your account.

The fee is displayed on each doctor's profile so you can check the cost before booking. A GP consultation is LKR 4,000 and a specialist consultation is LKR 6,000. Both include a LKR 1,000 non-refundable service fee.

Not when you request the appointment. Once our team confirms your appointment time, we email you payment instructions. Payment must be received within 48 hours, and in any case at least 24 hours before the appointment, or the appointment may be cancelled.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards, issued in Sri Lanka or overseas. Payments are processed securely by PayHere, and card details are never stored on our servers.

Yes. Cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment and the doctor fee is refunded; the LKR 1,000 service fee is non-refundable. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are not refunded. If the doctor cancels, you receive a full refund including the service fee. Refunds usually take 7-14 working days to reach you.

Yes — all reports are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Files are stored and handled under the rules of the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA) of Sri Lanka.

Only the doctor you explicitly share them with, plus a small group of authorised MediGo Lanka staff for support purposes. We do not sell or share data with third parties.

Consultation records and clinical notes are retained for 10 years under Sri Lankan medical record-keeping requirements.
